selected Wmode to manage its ringback tone music service on its CDMA network,
which operates in 22 states across the U.S. Under the terms of the multi-year
agreement, Cricket Communications will completely outsource the content
management, website and mobile storefront development, as well as all aspects
of merchandizing and promotions for the new service to Wmode. Wmode will also
provide billing and settlement services for all music and content purchased by
Cricket customers from their flex bucket. Cricket Communications will launch
these services with NMS Communications MyCaller(TM) ringback solution.
The Cricket(R) ringback tone service will make communications for
subscribers personal and fun, enabling users to express themselves by
replacing the standard system tones that their callers hear with favorite
music tracks from a rich content portfolio. Such entertainment and
personalization services are highly popular with consumers around the world.
