Eight million-dollar Top Prizes remain on LOTTO 6/49 25th Anniversary
WINNIPEG, Dec. 7 /CNW/ - They may never complain about driving their kids
around again! A venture out into the cold evening by one Winnipeg family
resulted in a million dollar win on the LOTTO 6/49 25th Anniversary SCRATCH 'N
When Pierrette and Phillip Lloyd's teenaged son, Julian, called for a
ride home from his friend's house, neither Mom nor Dad were thrilled. "Can't

Mac's Convenience Store at 1035 Autumnwood Drive in Winnipeg.
When they got home, Pierrette and her son scratched the tickets. "Julian
told me we'd won ten dollars. Then a couple of seconds later he shouted, 'No,

didn't believe him," Pierrette laughed.
The family immediately gathered their five kids together to celebrate the
win. "I actually made a list of things I'd do if I won a million dollars,"
says Pierrette. "But I'm going to be careful. I don't want to ever say that I
had a million dollars and blew it."
With a brood of five children all at home, the close-knit family is sure
they'll have no problem coming up with ideas about what to do with their
There were 10 prizes of a million dollars initially available on the
