CALGARY, March 21 /CNW/ - Winalta Inc. (TSX-V: WTA.A) today announced
certain changes in senior management.
Ray Hawrelak will be resigning as the Company's Chief Financial Officer
in order to pursue other interests. Mr. Hawrelak will remain in the role until
June 30, 2008 and will continue with Winalta until September 30, 2008 in order
to assist the Company with an orderly transition to the new Chief Financial
Todd Channon will be appointed Chief Financial Officer as of July 1,
2008. Mr. Channon joined Winalta in May 2007 as Controller, Homes Division. He
is a Certified Management Accountant and Certified Management Consultant with
significant experience in financial reporting and systems implementation. Mr.
Channon was previously a controller for a TSX-listed oilfield service company,
and prior to that was a senior manager at Deloitte & Touche LLP.
Artie T. Kos, President and Chief Executive Officer of Winalta commented:
