WINNIPEG, Sept. 17 /CNW/ - Wildcat Exploration Ltd. (TSXV-WEL) is pleased
to announce the appointment of R. Barry Cook, M.Sc., P.Geo. and Bruce W.
Mackie, M.Sc., P.Geo. to its recently announced Technical Advisory Panel.
Mr. Cook received his B.Sc. (Eng) and M.Sc. (Eng) degrees from Queen's
University and he is a registered professional engineer and/or a registered
professional geologist in various provinces and territories of Canada.
He is an Associate Consulting Geologist with Scott Wilson Roscoe Postle
Associates, prior to which he had a long and successful career with Cominco
Ltd., working on in a wide variety of geological models and terrains in Canada
and overseas. In his consulting career Mr. Cook has consulted to Canadian and
international clients, including Noranda, Teck Cominco, Phelps Dodge and Rio
Mr. Mackie is a professional geologist, and received his B.Sc.degree in
geology and chemistry from Carleton University and his M.Sc. in geology from
the University of Manitoba.
He has more than 30 years of mining industry experience in Canada and
internationally. He has a proven exploration record, having managed several
successful projects in gold and base metals in senior positions with Noranda,
Hemlo Gold and North American Palladium.
