WestJet launches service to and from Sydney, NS



    
    Airline makes inaugural return flight from Toronto to Sydney, Nova Scotia
    today
    

    CALGARY, May 5 /CNW/ - WestJet began non-stop, seasonal service between
Toronto and Sydney, NS, today. As part of its enhanced summer schedule, the
airline will fly three times weekly (Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday).
    "Service to Sydney gives over 100,000 people access to our 55-city
network," said Bob Cummings, WestJet Executive Vice-President of Guest
Experience and Marketing. "We're excited to offer Cape Bretoners access to the
more than 60 flights that depart Toronto each day. There are so many sights
and wonderful things to do in Cape Breton that we are confident this new
service will be well received."
    Following are the schedule details of WestJet's new seasonal non-stop
service, starting May 5, 2009.

    This announcement is part of WestJet's enhanced summer schedule, which
also includes the addition of three other new destinations: Yellowknife, San
Diego and San Francisco, as well as increased frequency in its existing
