WEST PERTH, Western Australia, April 23 /CNW/ - Western Areas will host
its first quarterly conference call on Tuesday 24 April at 11:00am AEST
(9:00am WST) to report results for the three-month period ending 31 March
In addition, Western Areas management will use the opportunity to provide
an update on other recent activities.
Mr Julian Hanna, Managing Director of Western Areas, as well as Mr Craig
Oliver, Western Areas' Chief Financial Officer, will host the conference call.

of A$1.5 million per month on drilling and geophysics.
The Company is rapidly expanding its nickel interests in Canada with the
acquisition of 13.9% interest of Canadian listed nickel company Mustang
Mineral Corp in late 2006. Western Areas has an option to increase this
interest to 19.9%. Mustang is conducting a pre-feasibility study for an open
