WHO: Wescustago Youth Chorale is named after the Wescustago River
which flows through North Yarmouth, Maine. Wescustago is
derived from the native Abneki - Wescus signifies "clear",
tegooe means "a stream that is moved by the wind or tide" Thus
Wescustago is a "clear tidal river".
The Chorale is a group where the spirit or tide of music will
move these teen singers in a positive peer environment, as they
develop their own identity.

Each choir will sing their own repertoire as well as singing en
masse "Les amours, les travaux" by Gilles Vigneault and "Who
Will Buy" by Lionel Bart.
WHAT: The Festival of Junior Choirs is a fundraiser for the Montreal
Children's Hospital - suggested donation is $10 at the door.
