    Iconic American apparel retailer opens in Toronto's Financial Core

    TORONTO, Aug. 26 /CNW/ - Today, Brooks Brothers opened the doors of its
first store in Toronto. The newest addition to the legendary clothier's retail
portfolio is located in the city's financial district in the Royal Bank Plaza.
Boasting an impressive 22,000-square-feet, it features the company's complete
collection for men, women and boys, as well as the Brooks Brothers' Country
Club Collection and Black Fleece Collection.
    "Brooks Brothers is thrilled to open its second Canadian location after
our successful launch in Vancouver in May," said Claudio Del Vecchio, Chairman
& CEO. "We have many loyal Brooks Brothers customers in Toronto who appreciate

    The first Brooks Brothers Canadian store officially opened in May in
Vancouver at 1026 Alberni Street. An additional Canadian location is
anticipated in Calgary in spring/summer 2010.
    With the opening of its Toronto location, Brooks Brothers introduces the
Black Fleece by Brooks Brothers to the Canadian market. Black Fleece by Brooks
Brothers is designed by the CFDA award-winning designer Thom Browne. For the
collection, which Brooks Brothers introduced in Fall 2007, Browne draws from
Brooks Brothers vast archives reinterpreting items that are both rooted in
tradition and thoroughly modern. The collection includes suits, furnishings,
accessories and sportswear for both men and women. Since its launch, the Black
Fleece by Brooks Brothers collection has been lauded by media and consumers
alike.
