MONTREAL, Sept. 28 /CNW Telbec/ - The Women's Health Mission of the
McGill University Health Centre invites Montrealers to shop this weekend at
one of the hundreds of Greater Montreal retailers who have joined forces with
the McGill University Health Centre Foundation to donate 5% of their weekend
sales to support women's health.
The Women's Health Mission of the MUHC is recognized around the world for
its innovative approach to the special health care needs of Quebec's women.
Proceeds of the Shop a Little, Give a Lot weekend will go to help improve
care in the MUHC's specialized clinics in such areas as women's cancer care,
women's cardiology, reproductive medicine and many others.
For a complete list of the more than 250 retailers and 13 malls who are
participating in the event, shoppers can visit www.shopalittlegivealot.com.
Participating stores will also display event posters in their windows on
September 29 and 30.
Teams of students from local high schools will be on hand to welcome
shoppers at mall entrances and direct them to participating retailers.
Galeries d'Anjou and Galerie Place Ville Marie will also host information
