Warner Bros. Records Chooses Musicrypt's DMDS For Major US Release

Superstar Band Linkin Park Debuts At No.1 Following Exclusive Digital
    Delivery

TORONTO, April 10 /CNW/ - Musicrypt Inc. (TSX-V: MCT, OTC: MCYPF), the
leader in secure digital media distribution, today announced that it has
successfully delivered the highly anticipated new single by the multi-platinum
selling band Linkin Park to radio stations across the United States. On Monday
morning April 2, 2007 at 7am ET, DMDS delivered the single "What I've Done"
simultaneously to hundreds of radio programmers. This exclusive, historic
delivery marks the first time that a major record label in the US has released
a significant new single entirely by digital means to radio thereby
eliminating the major expense of producing and shipping physical CDs. Today,
the song "What I've Done" debuts at No.1 on the BDS and Mediabase Alternative
charts.
The Warner Bros. promotional staff worked hand in hand with the Musicrypt
marketing team for the week leading up to this release. This marketing
campaign included a daily electronic notification (eNote) leading up to the
release date, a 30-sec stream of the song and exact, to the minute time of
availability via DMDS. Because of this collaborative effort, over 95% of
Mainstream Rock and Rock Alternative chart-monitored radio stations were
simultaneously and securely given access to "What I've Done" in the highest CD
broadcast quality.
"We are honored to have been entrusted with this historic release, which
has set in motion a seismic shift in how the music industry markets and
delivers its artists to radio. For years, CDs have been used to market new
music to radio stations," said Chris Montgomery, EVP Musicrypt. "Warner Bros.
understands that sending music digitally, with accountability, detailed
reporting, and in a cost effective manner is essential to their business
growth. We look forward to delivering more of their music via DMDS."
Musicrypt is powering the changes occurring in the digital music industry
