  • 44 per cent of survey respondents have received what they consider to be a terrible holiday gift; the same percentage of us are re-gifters!
  • Nearly half of survey respondents (47 per cent) would rather receive money than a bad gift.
  • More than 40 per cent of survey respondents prefer receiving nothing or just well wishes to a bad gift.
  • Canadians want to take the reins when it comes to holiday gifts — 34 per cent of survey respondents put a gift certificate on the top of their list so they can do their own shopping.
