New Canadian Series Gives Viewers an Exclusive Look into the
Lives of Real Estate Agents
The Agents Premieres Monday, April 27 at 10 p.m.
TORONTO, April 6 /CNW/ - W Network, Canada's No. 1 specialty channel for
women, presents The Agents, a new 10-episode, half-hour documentary series
that gives viewers an exclusive look into the lives of real estate agents,
showing the rarely-seen side of this lucrative but demanding business.
Produced by Breakthrough Films & Television in association with W Network, The
Agents premieres Monday, April 27 at 10 p.m.
"The Agents is going to give viewers at home an inside look into the
daily trials and tribulations of realtors," said Vibika Bianchi, Director,
Original Productions, W Network. "This current market is testing the mettle of
both established agents and the new kids on the block. There are a lot of
real-life triumphs and struggles portrayed in this series and we think that
viewers are going to get hooked into following their stories week after week."
Each episode of the series profiles two different agents - one rookie
fighting to make it to the top and one pro struggling to stay there. The
Agents takes an unprecedented and exclusive look at this cutthroat business as
the cast of realtors juggle high-end and low-end deals while coping with
crashing markets, anxious clients and stressed-out buyers - all while trying
to get home to cook a real meal for the kids, keep a relationship together (or
find one), and carve out an hour for themselves.
In the first episode, premiering Monday, April 27 at 10 p.m., rookie
agent Janice Rushford juggles a grieving client, a client whose house is
overpriced and a relationship with her boss. Pro agent Sally Cook must find a
condo for first-time buyers while attempting to finish a lakeside dream home
of her own.
