-- Hosted by MuchMusic's Trevor Boris, VOT's hilarious jurors come
together for the first time ever in front of a live studio audience --
TORONTO, Oct. 20 /CNW/ - Pop, punk, and rock stars beware. MuchMusic's
most-watched original program, Video On Trial, is turning 100 - and this old
man is bitter, kicking asses and taking names. To celebrate, an
extra-scathing, hour-long VOT special hits the airwaves Monday, November 3 at
7 p.m. ET, live in front of a studio audience. An encore performance airs
later that evening at 10 p.m. ET. Fan-favourite and home-grown jurors, hosted
by ring leader Trevor Boris, are on hand together for the first time to
deconstruct the best and worst moments of the show.

Don't be fooled. Just because VOT is throwing a party, doesn't mean that
any one (or any video) will be spared. During the no-holds-barred event, the
show's pop culture pundits - Debra DiGiovanni, Nikki Payne, Sabrina Jalees,
Ron Sparks, Jemini, Dini Dimakos, Anna Von Frances, Darrin Rose, Laurie
Elliott, David Kerr, and Eddie Della Siepe - together with the live studio
audience - countdown and mock fan-favourite moments. Searing insults and
humility are guaranteed.
Since 2005, Video On Trial has been cracking up viewers with its distinct
mix of scathing criticism and hilarious commentary on the music industry and
pop culture. Not only has it become another outlet for Canada's comedy-elite
to show their stuff, but the show has also helped launch the successful
careers of the nation's top comics.
Fans can get a weekly dose of their favourite comics on VOT Mondays at
6:30 p.m. ET. For even more, fans can check out a live, stand-up performance
featuring Trevor, Sabrina, and Debra in celebration of their 100th episode
milestone at The Panasonic Theater in Toronto on November 9. More information
