    STORY SUMMARY:
Rosacea is a skin disorder which affects an estimated two million
Canadians. It is a horrible disease to deal with. Symptoms can disappear and
reappear at unpredictable intervals, and can include persistent redness on the
cheeks, nose, chin and or forehead, small red bumps, pus-filled pimples and
blood vessels visible through the skin. Physical symptoms aside, this
low-profile yet dreadful disease has a great impact upon a sufferer's social
life and self esteem.
There is no cure for rosacea. Obtaining a diagnosis is paramount as there
are treatment options available which assist in controlling the disease.
Today, Galderma Canada, a leader in rosacea treatments, announced the
launch of www.rosaceainfo.com, an awareness and education resource for rosacea
sufferers. The easy-to-navigate web resource features extensive information on
rosacea, its symptoms, triggers and treatment options. The web site also
offers skin care tips for sufferers, newsletters and email updates.
