Energy Minister Dwight Duncan will unveil Ontario's 2007 Summer
Conservation and Demand Management programs to help Ontarians save money, use
electricity wisely, and help the environment.
To inspire Ontarians to think about electricity generation and
conservation, the Ontario Power Authority has designed a Pedal Power set using
bike generators to show how much easier it is to conserve energy than generate
it. Students from Kipling Collegiate Institute, a Gold Eco School Award
winner, will be riding the bikes.
