WINNIPEG, Jan. 31 /CNW/ - VIA Rail Canada wishes to advise travellers
that due to extreme cold temperatures in Northern Manitoba, it has temporarily
suspended its service between Winnipeg and Churchill in both directions.

passengers who are able to change their plans to travel on later dates are
asked to call VIA's toll-free number 1-888 VIA Rail (842-7245).
VIA wishes to apologize for any inconvenience this disruption may cause
to its passengers. Customers wishing further information may visit our website
