VIA services set to resume tomorrow morning between Montreal/Ottawa and Toronto



    Ticket sales and train operations return to normal

    TORONTO, March 12 /CNW/ - Following the clean up of a 32-car Canadian
National freight train derailment east of Kingston, Ontario, regular VIA Rail
Canada train services between Montreal-Toronto and Ottawa-Toronto are set to
resume on most Tuesday early morning departures, in both directions.
    Train 41 from Ottawa to Toronto and Train 651 from Kingston to Toronto
will be replaced by a bus for tomorrow only.
    Ticket sales have resumed for all VIA services between Toronto, Montreal
and Ottawa.
    VIA wishes to advise customers that it anticipates delays of between
one-two hours in total trip time for passengers travelling along these routes.
    VIA wishes to apologize for any inconvenience and for the expected delays
this disruption may cause to its passengers. Customers wishing further
