VIA Rail Canada - Public Service Announcement - VIA trains affected by CN track blockage near Burlington



    TORONTO, Feb. 18 /CNW Telbec/ - (05:30 am) - VIA Rail Canada says that
its trains today on the Toronto-Brantford-London-Windsor route will either be
rerouted or replaced by bus service until further notice as a result of a CN
freight train accident that blocked the rail line near Burlington earlier this
morning. Trains on the Toronto-Niagara Falls route are also replaced by bus
service today. Trains on the Toronto-Kitchener-London-Sarnia route are not
affected and will operate normally.
    For more information on train departures and arrivals, or to book a trip,
customers can visit VIA's secure Web site at viarail.ca. Passengers also can
book their tickets by calling 1 888 VIA-RAIL (1 888 842-7245), TTY
1 800 268-9503 (hearing impaired). Tickets are also available at kiosks in
major Corridor stations or through their travel agent.
