Via Rail Canada - Public service announcement - Update: Blockade Affects Specific Passenger Train Services in Ontario and Quebec



    Service Suspended Between Montreal-Toronto and Ottawa-Toronto

    MONTREAL, April 20 /CNW Telbec/ - Due to the closure of CN's
Montreal-Toronto rail line, VIA will suspend service between Montreal-Toronto
and Ottawa-Toronto as of 3:15 pm today, until further notice.
    By exception, the remainder of today's departures leaving Montreal for
Toronto will be replaced by chartered bus service, in this direction only, and
for today only.
    Passenger train services between Montreal and Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec
City, Toronto and London/Windsor/Sarnia, as well as Toronto and Niagara Falls,
are not affected.
    VIA regrets any inconvenience this situation may cause its customers.
Customers may call VIA at 1-888-VIA-RAIL for further information.
    VIA will issue an announcement when service on the affected routes
resumes.
