Second Major Snowfall forecasted for weekend travel
MONTREAL, Dec. 4 /CNW/ - With the snow continuing to fall and a forecast
calling for a second major snowstorm this week in the Quebec region, VIA Rail
Canada wishes to remind travellers that it has added capacity on all routes
within the Windsor - Québec City corridor and will continue to monitor the
demand for seats as the week progresses.
Every available piece of equipment has been pressed into service to
respond to the increased demand for space.
Passengers are advised to book as early as possible and to verify
departure and arrival times. Information and reservations are available at

impaired), or through your travel agent.
Customers can also use the ticket kiosks to avoid lengthy line-ups or
driving and parking stresses associated with inclement weather. Ticket kiosks
are located in the following Corridor locations: Québec, Ste-Foy, Montréal,
Dorval, Ottawa, Fallowfield, Kingston, Belleville, Cobourg, Oshawa, Toronto,
Oakville, Aldershot, Brantford, Guelph, Kitchener, London and Windsor.
