Verdict and recommendations from inquest into the deaths of Lori Dupont and Marc Daniel to be released



    TORONTO, Dec. 10 /CNW/ - Dr. Bonita Porter, Chief Coroner for Ontario,
today announced that the verdict and recommendations from the inquest into the
deaths of Ms. Lori Dupont and Dr. Marc Daniel will be released tomorrow when
the inquest reconvenes.
    Ms. Dupont, 36, was a nurse at Hotel-Dieu Grace Hospital in Windsor when
she died on November 12, 2005. Dr. Daniel, 50, was an anaesthesiologist at the
same hospital when he died on November 15, 2005. At the time of Ms. Dupont's
death, both individuals were on duty at the hospital. Ms. Dupont and Dr.
Daniel had been in a relationship prior to their deaths.
    The inquest will reconvene at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 11, 2007, at
the Ciociaro Club of Windsor, 3745 North Talbot Road, Oldcastle. Dr. Andrew
McCallum is the presiding coroner and Mr. Eric Siebenmorgen is counsel to the
coroner.
