The interim consolidated financial statements and MD&A for the quarter
ended June 30, 2009 are available on the Company's website,
www.vectoraerospace.com and on SEDAR, www.sedar.com.

The Company generated consolidated revenue from operations of $147.0
million for the second quarter of 2009, $8.8 million above the same period
last year. Earnings from operations, before interest, income tax, foreign
exchange gains/(losses) and unusual items were $14.3 million for the second
quarter of 2009, an increase of $2.1 million as compared to the same period
last year. The increase in earnings in the second quarter of 2009 was
primarily a result of strong airframes project completions and improved
results from the UK acquisition completed on April 1, 2008. During the second
quarter of 2009, the Company recorded $2 million foreign exchange loss
compared to a $0.5 million foreign exchange gain in the second quarter of
2008. Net earnings for the second quarter of 2009 were $7.9 million ($0.21 per
share) compared to $8.4 million ($0.22 per share) for the same period last
year.
In commenting on the quarter's results, President and CEO Declan O'Shea
stated: "Our operating earnings before foreign exchange gains/(losses) were
very strong in the second quarter. Both the airframe and component segments
increased year over year activity levels and earnings. Year over year second
quarter engine segment earnings have decreased due to lower Royal Saudi Air
Force activity. The Engines segment earnings improved over the first quarter.
In aggregate, we expect the second half of 2009 to be similar to the first
half of the year assuming stable foreign exchange rates."
