WESTPORT, Conn., Nov. 17, 2015 /CNW/ -- America's online mattress company, Saatva, will now manufacture and deliver in Canada, adding to its American network of 16 factories and 112 fulfillment centers. The company will launch in Toronto with one Canadian factory and two fulfillment centers serving a population of 6.5M people. After years of decline with economic conditions improving in 2010, the mattress market staged a remarkable comeback and according to IBIS World's Mattress Manufacturing in Canada Industry Report, revenue growth is now expected over the next five years. In addition, the housing market is expected to remain strong which helps spur mattress purchases.
"As we continue to grow and increase our factories and fulfillment centers, we are delighted to expand across the border and offer our top-of-the-line products to our neighbors to the north," said Saatva CEO, Ron Rudzin. "We are confident that our Canadian customers will soon experience the quality products and customer service that has earned us the top-reviewed mattress company on Google for the past three years in a row."
Saatva's unique business model, policies, and pricing will remain consistent with its U.S. offering. Canadian customers will experience in-home mattress installation, a relaxing 75-day home trial, and concierge-style customer service from Saatva's non-commissioned team members. The mattress materials will all be locally sourced and manufactured following Saatva proprietary specifications.
Saatva — which means clarity and purity — has been changing sleep and mattress-buying as many North Americans know it. The online company designs and delivers ultra-premium innerspring and memory foam mattresses throughout the United States and Canada.
