KIRKLAND LAKE, ON, June 17 /CNW/ - Uranium City Resources (the
"Corporation") (TSXV:UCR) is pleased to announce that all of the Directors
were re-elected at the Corporation's recent Annual and Special Meeting of
Shareholders held on June 12, 2008 in Kirkland Lake, Ontario. The Board of
Directors has subsequently passed a written resolution to appoint Malcolm
Bucholtz to the Corporation's Board of Directors. This appointment is subject
to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange Inc.
Mr. Bucholtz is a 1986 graduate of Queen's University (Metallurgical
Engineering) and a 2000 graduate of the Edinburgh Business School (MBA).
From 1986 to 2002, Mr. Bucholtz held positions of increasing
responsibility in the Canadian steel industry. From 2002 to 2007, Mr. Bucholtz
was an Investment Advisor with Union Securities, an independent Canadian
brokerage firm. Mr. Bucholtz became an officer of the Corporation in 2007.
Commenting on the appointment, Mr. Robert Kasner, President and CEO of
the Corporation, stated, "We welcome Malcolm to our team. With his experience
