KIRKLAND LAKE, ON, July 18 /CNW/ - Uranium City Resources Inc. (the
"Corporation") (TSXV:UCR) announces that Robert J. Kasner has resigned as
President and Chief Executive Officer and as a director of the Corporation.
Malcolm Bucholtz, a director of the Corporation, has been appointed as the
President and Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation, and Glenn Kasner has
been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of the Corporation. These
appointments are subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange Inc.
From 1986 to 2002, Mr. Bucholtz held positions of increasing
responsibility in the Canadian steel industry. From 2002 to 2007, Mr. Bucholtz
was an Investment Advisor with Union Securities, an independent Canadian
brokerage firm. Mr. Bucholtz was appointed as Vice-President - Investor
Relations of the Corporation in 2007, and was appointed as a director of the
Corporation in June, 2008.
Since 1998, Glenn Kasner has been the President of Chief Executive
Officer of RJK Explorations Ltd., a mineral exploration company engaged in the
acquisition, exploration and development of early stage mineral resource
