University of South Carolina - Moore School of Business wins the 28th edition of the John Molson MBA International Case Competition

    MONTREAL, Jan. 11 /CNW Telbec/ - After five days of intense competition,
University of South Carolina - Moore School of Business has won the 28th John
Molson MBA International Case Competition. The winner was one of three teams
that made it to the final round, where competitors presented their solutions
to a business case involving Starbucks.
    36 teams from around the world took part in the Competition. Winners were
announced during a closing banquet sponsored by Bombardier and held at the
Hilton Montréal Bonaventure yesterday evening.

    Winners:

    1st place: University of South Carolina - Moore School of Business, USA
    (awarded a $10,000 bursary from Export and Development Canada)

    2nd place: Helsinki School of Economics, Finland (awarded a $7,000
    bursary from McCathy-Tétrault)

    3rd place: University College Dublin - Michael Smurfit Graduate Business
    School, Ireland (awarded a $5,000 bursary from Mackenzie Financial)

    Launched in 1981, Concordia University's John Molson MBA International
Case Competition is the largest and most prestigious of its kind. Throughout
the week, 36 teams from eight different countries recommend the best possible
solutions to real-world business problems, and are judged by more than 250
prominent members of the business community.
