UL Warns of Counterfeit Motor Capacitor



    NORTHBROOK, Ill., Oct. 21 /CNW/ -- Underwriters Laboratories (UL) is
notifying manufacturers that motor capacitors marked "SHENGF" bear a
counterfeit UL Recognition Mark for the United States and Canada.
    Please note this counterfeit product is similar to a motor capacitor
authorized to bear the UL Recognition Mark. The authorized motor capacitor is
marked "SHENGE".

    Number of Units: Unknown
    
    Date of Manufacture: Unknown, but may be marked with a manufacturing code
of 2005.6 or 2005.3.
    
    Manufacturer: Unknown
