UdeM is No. 1 in research funds in Quebec



    MONTREAL, Oct. 25 /CNW Telbec/ - The Université de Montréal has kept its
position as research leader in Quebec. The ranking of Canadian universities
published today by Research Infosource shows that the UdeM has the largest
research budget in Quebec and the second-largest in Canada. With more than
$447 million dedicated to research, it is surpassed only by the University of
Toronto.
    Rector Luc Vinet offered his congratulations to Université de Montréal
professors and researchers for their contributions to this collective success.
