    TSX Venture Exchange has accepted for filing Altair Ventures
Incorporated's (the "Company") Qualifying Transaction described in its filing

    TSX Venture has accepted for filing an option agreement (the "Agreement")
between Minera Mexicana El Rosario S.A. De C.V, a wholly owned subsidiary of
Great Panther Resources Limited ("Great Panther") and Minera Altair, S.A, De
C.V., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, dated February 2, 2007
pursuant to which the Company will have the option to earn a 70% interest in
the mining claims named "San Antonio", "Iran", "Santo Nino" and "Chiripa"
having a contiguous surface area of 11,946 hectares and located in the
municipality of Guadalupe y Calvo, Chihuahua, Mexico (the "San Antonio
Property").

    Great Panther is a public company incorporated under the laws of British
Columbia with common shares listed for trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange,
with its principal office located in Vancouver, British Columbia.

    The aggregate consideration to be paid by the Company to Great Panther
consists of (i) an aggregate cash payment of US$200,000 (ii) an aggregate of
200,000 common shares of the Company, with the first installment of 100,000
common shares due on signing of the Agreement and two further installments of
50,000 common shares due on each of the two successive anniversary dates; and
(iii) an aggregate of US$1,000,000 in exploration expenditures over a three
year period following the signing of the Agreement.

    The Exchange has been advised that the above transaction has been
completed. The full particulars of the Company's acquisition of its interest
in the San Antonio Property are set forth in the Filing Statement, which has
been accepted for filing by the TSX Venture Exchange and which is available
under the Company's profile on SEDAR.
