CAA opens its own Car Care Centre
THORNHILL, ON, Aug. 31 /CNW/ - CAA South Central Ontario (CAASCO) is
opening its first very own auto repair facility in Orangeville.
The new CAA-owned Car Care Centre will be located at 109 County Road in
Orangeville (formerly known as Orangeville Auto Pro).
This is the ninth CAA-owned Car Care Centre purchased this year. To date,
CAA has launched Car Care Centres in Kitchener, Waterloo, Stratford, Listowel,
Milton, Georgetown, Scarborough and Peterborough.
Each of these auto repair facilities is open to both members and
CAA South Central Ontario hopes to launch 20 CAA Car Care Centres by
"Our members deserve quality and trusted service when it comes to their
automotive needs," said Teddy Chien vice-president business development and
chief financial officer for CAASCO. "This acquisition is a natural extension
of our roadside assistance and automotive service and will allow CAA to
provide a full complement of car-care needs to any member."
CAA South Central Ontario is also striving to be responsible both with
clients' trust and its environmental output.
More and more CAA members are choosing to hold onto their vehicle in
these troublesome economic times. According to DesRosiers Automotive
Consultants Inc., the average automobile on the road today is 8.4 years old.
The new CAA Car Care Centre will open to the motoring public at the end
The facilities provide motorists with high-quality maintenance and
repairs that are guaranteed for one year or 20,000 kilometres under a parts
and labour warranty. In addition, CAA members will earn three per cent in CAA
dollars on parts and labour for each repair.
CAA South Central Ontario is a not-for-profit auto club offering
insurance, travel and roadside services. There are more than 1.8 million CAA
members in South Central Ontario and 5 million members in Canada.
