MONTREAL, Jan. 7 /CNW/ - With a winter storm hitting the Ontario and
Quebec region and forecasts of heavy snowfall mixed with freezing rain
expected to continue, impacting other modes of transportation, VIA Rail Canada
advises that all trains in the Windsor-Québec City corridor region are
operating as normal. As the storm continues to make its presence felt, VIA
expects demand for seats to continue.
As a result of the heavy snowfall some VIA trains may experience minor
delays of up to 30 minutes.
VIA will add cars where possible to meet the increased demand. Passengers
