TransUnion Expands Analytic & Decision Services Team to Drive Growth in Canada



    TORONTO, Sept. 17 /CNW/ -- TransUnion announced the hires of Thomas
Higgins and Tushar Thakker to its growing Analytic and Decision Services team
in Canada and Leslie J. Garner to its database administration group.  These
three individuals bring a breadth of experience in financial and database
marketing and consulting, greatly enhancing TransUnion's data strategies and
modeling capabilities.
    Higgins and Thakker, from the Analytic and Decision Services team, will
be responsible for cultivating and implementing business opportunities for new
and existing customers in the area of modeling and analytics. Higgins will
focus on the mid-market Financial Services, Retail and Telecommunications
industries, while Thakker will concentrate on the Financial Services industry.
"Higgins and Thakkers' industry knowledge in marketing, database, and modeling
programs and proven leadership abilities will be instrumental as TransUnion
continues help its customers maximize data information through the use of

    Garner joins the organization as a database administrator, responsible
for the organizational data strategy including Database Quality standards and
will interact with both internal and external customers to ensure all
solutions involving data are managed accordingly. "Garner's extensive
consulting experience and expertise in all aspects of system development will
enhance our data management capabilities, reinforcing our continued commitment
to our customers to provide the industry's most integrated and timely
