Toronto company saves clients millions of litres of water

TORONTO, Jan. 28 /CNW/ - Since 2007, Smart Watering Systems (SWS) has
helped industrial, commercial and institutional property managers in southern
Ontario significantly reduce the amount of potable water used in irrigation.
By performing systems inspections, equipment upgrading and employing
SMART technology, SWS customers have collectively conserved more than 100
million litres of water in the past two years alone.
This also translates into a reduction of over 20,000 kg. in greenhouse
gas emissions and more than $150,000 in cash savings.

Among SWS customers in the Toronto area who have benefited from climate
controlled irrigation are: -
Bentall Real Estate Services 10,500,000 litres saved
    Manulife Financial 7,000,000 litres saved
20 Vic Industrial 9,600,000 litres saved
    Yorkdale Mall 11,000,000 litres saved

For his work at the Yorkdale Mall, SWS CEO Chris LeConte recently
received the 'Excellence in Water Conservation Award' from Landscape Ontario.
