RAMA, ON, Aug. 11 /CNW/ - Sheryl Crow is expected to perform her hit single "If It Makes You Happy", but it was Casino Rama who made a Toronto area man very happy when they handed him his $1.7M dollar cheque tonight. The man, who is in his forties and asked that his name not be disclosed, won the million dollar plus slot jackpot playing one of 14 Mega Bucks Progressive slot machines this afternoon at Casino Rama.
The man was playing the winning slot machine for a short period of time this afternoon, and says he had wagered just twenty dollars, when the winning combination came up. Interestingly he told staff that this is his third time playing the machine bank when the big jackpot was won, he came close at two other Ontario gaming sites. He expressed that he always felt he was meant to win, and its just pure luck and he's happy with that! He has no immediate plans for the money.
"We're thrilled to celebrate another large slot jackpot win, this just proves this is Where Your Excitement begins" said Harry Oshanski, President & CEO of Casino Rama.
This $1.7M dollar win marks the fifth time the MegaBucks jackpot has been won at Casino Rama - the $9M Canadian slot jackpot record was won on March 23rd, 2008 by a Toronto woman, another Toronto woman won over $1.8M on December 23rd, 2002, a local Orillia woman won over $2.1M on February 4th, 2005 and a Sudbury man won $1.2M in July of 2005.

Marie, OLG Casino Brantford, OLG Casino Point Edward, OLG Casino Thunder Bay, OLG Casino Thousand Islands, OLG Slots Georgian and OLG Slots Woodbine.
