open a TOM FORD MENSWEAR shop it was announced today. The exclusive 1,000
square foot space is a sumptuous and highly sophisticated shopping
environment, designed to offer an unparalleled experience of ready-to-wear and
custom-made clothing for the modern man.
Inspired by the great sartorial traditions of English and Italian
menswear, and created using the centuries-old Italian craftsmanship of Italy,
the TOM FORD MENSWEAR collection offers a complete world of deeply
personalized luxury. From suiting, sportswear, footwear, accessories, and
scent, the shop surrounds the customer with the complete TOM FORD universe.
The shop is scheduled to open Monday, September 1, 2008.

The Toronto location joins recently opened stores in New York, Milan,
Osaka, Zurich, Puerto Banus (Spain) and Sao Paolo, as well as locations
currently under construction in Moscow, Hong Kong, Dubai, Qatar, Istanbul, Las
Vegas, San Francisco, Atlanta, and Baku (Azerbaijan), to give TOM FORD a
global platform that serves established and developing markets alike.
The TOM FORD brand was launched in 2005. In April 2005, Ford signed a
licensing deal with Estee Lauder to produce a fragrance and beauty collection.
The stand-alone TOM FORD BEAUTY brand was established in Fall 2006 with the
signature women's Tom Ford Black Orchid fragrance followed by Private Blend, a
collection of 12 unisex fragrances. In September 2007, Ford debuted his first
signature men's fragrance Tom Ford for Men. Ford also partnered with Marcolin
Group, a global leader in the eyewear industry, to produce and distribute
optical frames and sunglasses under the TOM FORD brand. Ford opened his first
directly operated retail store in April 2007 on Manhattan's prestigious
