TORONTO, Jan. 8 /CNW/ - Today's Parent is seeking nominations for its
fifth annual Today's Parent For Kids' Sake Awards. These awards recognize
individuals who have made a difference in the lives of Canadian children. Last
year's winners include a trailblazer who made life better for kids with
cancer, a champion of arts education, and an anti-suicide crusader who's
saving lives among aboriginal youth. Nominees may be volunteers, parents or
professionals - even kids themselves. The important thing is that they have
seen a need and responded.
Five winners will receive a $10,000 cheque to donate to the registered
children's charity of their choice. The winners will attend a special event in
Toronto and will be profiled in the May 2008 issue of Today's Parent.
