Mystery Incorporated join TELETOON's "Extra Awesome Thursday"

TORONTO, Aug. 11 /CNW Telbec/ - TELETOON premieres a slate of all new series and new episodes of returning series as part of the "Extra Awesome Thursday"* programming block from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET/PT on Thursday evenings beginning Thursday, September 9, 2010. Two brand new series, Total Drama World Tour from the hit Total Drama franchise and Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated following spooky new Scooby Doo capers, join new seasons of returning favourites Johnny Test, Jimmy Two-Shoes, Spliced and Stoked.

The "Extra Awesome Thursday" programming block offers up something new every Thursday with new series, new episodes and new bonus content. Teletoon.com extends the "Extra Awesome Thursday" programming block experience with new online games, a joke of the week, polls, exclusive videos and activities.
It all kicks off on Thursday, September 9 at 6 p.m. ET/PT with new episodes of Scooby Doo! Mystery Incorporated followed by Spliced at 6:30 p.m. ET/PT, Jimmy Two Shoes at 7 p.m. ET/PT, Johnny Test at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT and two back-to-back new episodes of Total Drama World Tour at 8 p.m. ET/PT and 8:30 pm. ET/PT. Then, starting Thursday, September 16, a new season of Stoked joins the regular "Extra Awesome Thursday" programming block line-up at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT. Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated

Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy and Scooby-Doo are back, solving mysteries in the spooky town of Crystal Cove, a sleepy coastal village that boasts a long history of ghostly sightings, werewolves and glowing deep sea divers. Because of all the paranormal activity, Crystal Cove has become a tourist hotspot that capitalizes on its haunted reputation - and the gang's meddling is therefore not appreciated by the people of Crystal Cove.
Total Drama World Tour (TELETOON Original Production)

Bringing an international twist and a musical spin to this season, Total Drama World Tour continues the series' hilarious tradition of parodying the best moments of reality TV with some of the fan-favourite past contestants and a few exciting new faces. The participants get another chance at fame and fortune as they are flown to exotic locations all over the world to sing their way through larger-than-life elimination competitions, stomach curdling challenges, death-defying stunts, romances, friendships and ultimately, a chance at another million-dollar grand prize.

Spliced follows the adventures of Peri and his pal Entrée, two quirky creatures leftover from genetic experiments conducted by a crazy doctor. Abandoned on Keep Away Island along with their friends and a whole neighbourhood of mismatched mutants, they attempt to recreate what they can only imagine a normal society to be like.
Jimmy Two-Shoes (TELETOON Original Production)

Jimmy Two-Shoes is an irrepressible, thrill-seeking optimist who makes it his mission to find fun everywhere he goes. There's just one hitch ... he lives in Miseryville, the gloomiest, doomiest place around. But along with his best friends, Jimmy is determined to surf past all obstacles and bring his infectious enthusiasm to the whole town.

An action-comedy extravaganza, Johnny Test chronicles the adventures of a fearless 11-year-old boy, his genetically engineered super dog Dukey, and his 13-year-old super-genius scientist sisters Susan and Mary. Using Johnny as their guinea pig, Susan and Mary strive to solve the trials and tribulations of adolescent angst with out-of-this-world scientific experiments.

Emma, Reef, and Fin join locals Broseph, Lo and Johnny Front Desk Guy to work at the world renowned Surfer's Paradise Resort. Stoked to have the summer of their lives, they are instead faced with the worst jobs ever, hideous uniforms, a run-down staff house and a tacky, fake, touristy resort. But getting to SURF on their days off makes it all worthwhile.
Encore broadcasts of the Thursday premieres air on Sunday evening from 6:30 p.m. ET/PT with classic episodes of What's New Scooby Doo?, Spliced, Jimmy Two Shoes, Johnny Test, Total Drama Island and Stoked airing in the "3 Hours of Awesome" programming block from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET/PT Monday to Wednesday.
