VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, March 7 /CNW/ - Thunder Sword Resources Inc.
("the Company") (TSX VENTURE: THU) is pleased to provide an update on the
Ground Geophysics on its Botham Lake Prospect:
Botham Lake Prospect -- Completion of Ground Geophysics
The Company has been advised by Patterson Geophysics that magnetometer
surveying has been completed as planned on the four established grids (Grids
B1, B2, B45, and B79) at Botham Lake. Preliminary analysis by Patterson
Geophysics has confirmed that the recent ground magnetic survey has greatly
enhanced the structural details which the Company initially obtained through
the airborne magnetic surveying which was completed in October of 2006. In
addition, several subsurface trends have been made clearer, possible
associated faults have been identified, and zones of potential mineralization
have been outlined.
Patterson has also reported that HLEM surveying has been completed on
grid B45 and is continuing on grids B1, B2, and B79 as of this writing. The
airborne conductors are quite apparent on all four grids, and more accurate
information regarding conductor strength and geometry is currently being
calculated. In addition to the strong airborne conductors, secondary (and
tertiary, on B1) conductive trends have been identified on grids B1, B45 and
B79 which were not apparent from the airborne data.
Management is very encouraged by the initial results being reported by
Patterson Geophysics on its Botham Lake prospect and anticipates that it will
be discussing, with its joint venture partners, Tribune Resources Corp. and
101073531 Saskatchewan Ltd., the potential of implementing a drill program on
several of the Botham Lake target areas within the next few months.
