The Tea Emporium turns over a new leaf with a refreshed look, new products and exclusive tasting event
Premier Canadian-tea shop also announces strategic partnership with acclaimed entrepreneur Som Seif
TORONTO, Sept. 10, 2012 /CNW/ - The Tea Emporium, a leading Canadian seller of high quality teas and tea accessories, is delighted to unveil a fresh new look and line of exclusive products that will be featured on the company's website and in stores. To celebrate the rebranding and revitalization, The Tea Emporium will welcome tea lovers and tea novices alike to an exclusive event where they will have the opportunity to experience what has made The Tea Emporium a staple in the Canadian tea industry as well as dapple in the latest products and services being offered. The event will be held at The Tea Emporium store front at 351 Eglinton Avenue West on Thursday, September 27, 2012.

Our new look further aligns us with our company focus of community and harmony," said Shabnam Weber, Owner, The Tea Emporium. "One element of this is that our products and services are now being used for charitable events, such as our Tea Party for Survivors that will take place in conjunction with the CIBC Run for the Cure in Markham this September."
Weber is one of the foremost experts on tea and the tea industry in Canada. The Toronto-born entrepreneur and current owner of The Tea Emporium sits on the Board of Directors of the Tea Association of Canada and has been a guest speaker at the World Tea Expo. She is scheduled to speak at upcoming events such as the North American Tea Conference and the Canadian Coffee & Tea Show, and will be a judge at the International Tea Contest.
In addition to the rejuvenation of The Tea Emporium brand, the company is delighted to announce a new partnership with Som Seif, who joins as a partner and investor. Seif is the former President and CEO of Claymore Investments Inc., which he founded in 2005 and built into one of the fastest growing asset management companies in Canada.
