March Madness tournament exclusively on Rogers on Demand --
TORONTO, March 14 /CNW/ - Score Media Inc. (TSX: SCR) announced today
that it will extend its exclusive NCAA March Madness coverage to Rogers
Personal TV customers through their Rogers on Demand service. Now Rogers
customers with a digital box will be able to view the entire tournament on
their own schedule for free.
"This is a first for NCAA coverage in Canada," said David Errington, SVP
and General Manager, The Score Television Network. "This partnership with
Rogers will allow college hoop fans the ability to catch the entire tournament
on their own time."
Starting March 16, Rogers Personal TV customers with a digital box will
be able to select from all 64 games of the tournament to watch on their
schedule. Games will be available on channel 100 approximately twenty four
hours after their initial airing on the Score Television Network. Viewers will
be able to control the On Demand action using their remote to pause, rewind,
and fast forward at their convenience.
