Montreal has played host to this annual friendly face-off between teams made
up of the NHL's biggest stars. To kick off the celebrations surrounding the

    The New Cities

They're catchy new-wave synth-punk with just enough pop. The entire band
exuded tremendous energy on stage, which clearly shows they are having the
time of their lives. These local boys from Montreal and Trois-Rivières are on
the verge on releasing their first record and have already shared the stage
with Simple Plan, Hedley, Mobile, illScarlett, Metric, Malajube, Sum 41 and
many more! The New Cities is the band to watch in 2009. - www.thenewcities.com

    Hedley

They swept the 2008 MuchMusic Video Awards, winning in all major
categories including Video of the Year, Best Rock Video, Best Director and
Best Cinematography. They have had seven consecutive No. 1 videos/songs and
received six Juno Nominations, including for Group of the Year (2008).
Hedley's video for Never Too Late had the most airplay of 2008, and they had
the second most radio airplay in 2008, surpassed by only Rihanna (Neilsen
BDS). Their extensive U.S. and Canadian tours have included headlining shows
as well as playing support slots for Bon Jovi, Nickelback, Simple Plan,
Yellowcard, Three Days Grace, and others. - www.hedleyonline.com
