SANDPOINT, Idaho, Sept. 5 /CNW/ -- The Idaho Club, one of the Inland
Northwest's newest luxury lake and golf communities, received a strong
response from the sales launch of new homesites and homes over the festive
Labor Day weekend.

The Idaho Club recorded 40 transactions for a total sales volume of
$25 million. Launch sales included homesites priced from $295,000 to over
$1 million and Lodge Homes priced from the mid $800,000s to $1.25 million.
Despite a cautious market for real estate sales nationwide, The Idaho
Club continues to make steady progress as it enters its second year of
operation. Combined with a Founder's Program and a successful opening launch
in October of last year, the community has now generated more than $80 million
in property sales. "We're very fortunate to experience this level of interest
in The Idaho Club," said developer Chuck Reeves. "A strong showing in sales
over the weekend is a good indication that our customer is responding to
lifestyle components we're delivering with this community."
Members and guests enjoyed ideal weather and were treated to lake and
golf course tours, an overview of the property and surrounding area via float
plane, a full complement of outdoor activities for children, a golf clinic by
PGA Tour Professional Scott McCarron, and live musical entertainment at The
Lodge. The community recently staged the Grand Opening of three fully-
furnished models in the Lodge Home Collection, designed by the nationally
acclaimed architectural firm of Hart Howerton and built by highly regarded
builders Sullivan Homes of Idaho.
The legendary Jack Nicklaus visited The Idaho Club earlier this summer to
inspect the progress of his first Signature Golf Course in Idaho, scheduled to
open next July.
The Idaho Club is a residential lake and golf community offering resort-
style amenities and services in a pristine, natural setting on the Inland
Northwest's beautiful Lake Pend Oreille. Amenities include a Lake Club and
private marina, a host of family outdoor activities and concierge services for
member programs. For more information and opportunities for ownership, please
