premiere mobile application developer and The Globe and Mail, Canada's
national newspaper, are partnering to bring Canadian news to smart phones.
This strategic partnership will allow the Globe and Mail to deliver its daily
news and multimedia content to the Palm Pre, Apple iPhone and a number of
Blackberry devices using Spreed's smart phone application platform and mobile

The Globe and Mail is Canada's first newspaper to be offered in the Apple
iTunes App Store and Palm Pre App Catalogue. It is available for free directly
from the respective app stores and Spreed Inc. will be making constant updates
to improve usability and functionality. Spreed Inc. will be releasing a
Blackberry version of the application later this month.
