The Ford Dealers Association of Quebec, proud partner of the Quebec Breakfast Club's (Club des petits déjeuners du Québec) fundraising campaign, with the support of the Montreal Canadiens

MONTREAL, March 4 /CNW Telbec/ - On Saturday, March 1, the Ford Dealers
Association of Quebec launched a fundraising campaign for the benefit of the
Quebec Breakfast Club, in collaboration with the Montreal Canadiens. As a
sponsor, the Ford Dealers Association of Quebec will donate, between March 1
and April 5, $ 2 000 to the Quebec Breakfast Club for each goal scored by the
Montreal Canadiens hockey team.
This original fundraising campaign began officially with the Canadiens
match held on March 1, 2008 and will end on the final match of the regular
season, on April 5, 2008. All in all, 17 games disputed either in Montreal or
on the road will take part of the fundraising program, where each goal scored
by the Canadiens will account for a donation of $2 000 to be given to the
Quebec Breakfast Club on behalf of the Ford Dealers Association of Quebec.
The Ford Dealers Association of Quebec has been involved with the Quebec
Breakfast Club since its foundation in 1994 and has the will to continue its
association, to innovate and to further develop this charitable partnership
with the help of its members in the province of Quebec, as its President,
Mr. Jacques Olivier, indicates: "We elaborated a fundraising program for the
benefit of the Quebec Breakfast Club. We count on the participation of all the
dealers in the province of Quebec." The Ford dealers are invited to organize
activities in their respective regions. They can, among other things,
participate in the program "Adopt a Club" which consists of one day of
volunteer work per month in a Club with their staff. The general public is
also called upon to help the Association to reach its objective by voluntarily
contributing to this charitable cause. For that purpose, donations boxes will
be placed in the service and waiting areas of all Ford Dealers in the
province.

The Quebec Breakfast Club is a non- profit organization which takes every
possible step to bring each child the two essential elements for a good
learning experience: a nutritious breakfast and a nourishing environment.
Since 1994, thanks to the support of an increasing number of private and
public partners, the Quebec Breakfast Club installed kitchen facilities in a
great number of elementary and secondary Quebec schools in underprivileged
neighbourhoods. Today, the Club represents 15,000 registered children who have
breakfast every single morning of the school year, more than 2,100,000
breakfasts served each year, 212 Clubs everywhere in the province, an army of
2,500 volunteer workers and more than 14 stays in Youth camp.
