The Federal Electoral Campaign - The Chief of the First Nations of Quebec and Labrador wants to meet with the leaders of the political parties



    WENDAKE, QC, Sept. 12 /CNW Telbec/ - The Chief of the Assembly of First
Nations of Quebec and Labrador, Ghislain Picard, is asking to meet with the
leaders of the five main Canadian political parties, during the present
electoral campaign. Chief Picard wishes to inform the leaders of the parties
of the solutions advocated by the Assembly of the First Nations of Quebec and
Labrador to improve the deplorable living conditions of the First Nations.
Also, he wishes to get from the leaders of the parties their commitment
towards lasting solutions developed with the First Nations.

    The Assembly of First Nations of Quebec and Labrador is the regional
organization representing the Chiefs of the First Nations of Quebec and
Labrador.
