    Redwood launches Zoom-Zoom, a global magazine for Mazda
    

    TORONTO, Sept. 27 /CNW/ -- Redwood and Mazda are bringing the thrill of
the road to readers worldwide.

    Zoom-Zoom, a new global magazine for Mazda customers, is about the
excitement of new experiences and the exhilaration of driving a Mazda. Its
first issue launched September 15 in five languages and eight countries - the
UK, U.S., Canada, Germany, Spain, Japan, Australia and New Zealand - though it
may expand with future issues. Its global circulation is more than 1.5
million, including 283,000 copies in the US and 327,000 copies in Canada.
    Redwood Custom Communications produces all local content for the
magazine's North American editions, incorporating global editorial developed
in the UK and Japan.
    Reflecting the Mazda brand, Zoom-Zoom covers a wide range of interests
with vigour. The first US edition examines the legendary Mazda Raceway at
Laguna Seca, while the Canadian version profiles a Hollywood stunt guru from
Toronto. Globally, the magazine celebrates the 40th anniversary of the rotary
engine with some of its biggest fans, including the Tonight Show's Jay Leno.
It features a robot that skates on your office desk, an electric guitar for
frequent flyers and the strange sport of River Bugging. Its cover story takes
Mazda customers on a thrilling ride through Italy's supercar country in the
Mazda MX-5, the world's top-selling sports coupe.
