    TORONTO, Dec. 12 /CNW Telbec/ -

Who: The Community Coalition Against Mining Uranium (CCAMU) in
collaboration with Greenpeace Canada, Mining Watch Canada and
Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment.

What: Announcement regarding Donna Dillman, in her 68th day of a hunger
           strike

    When: Thursday, December 13th, 2007; 11:00am

Where: Queen's Park Media Studio, main legislative building

Why: To protect Ontarians from the destructive health impacts of
           uranium mining.

Donna Dillman has not eaten since October 8th, 2007. On Tuesday she
stopped drinking juices and is surviving solely on water. There is great
concern that her health will deteriorate quickly to the point of no return.
With that in mind, several organizations are collaborating to step in where
the Premier of Ontario has failed in his mandate to protect the citizens of
Ontario and those not yet born.
