The Canadian Office Products Association Sets Its Sights on IT Channel



    
    Print Solutions summit to attract dealers in Vancouver and surrounding
    areas
    

    MISSISSAUGA, ON,, Aug. 13 /CNW/ - The office products industry is
expanding its reach into the technology sector and the Canadian Office
Products Association (COPA) is leading the way with a new and exciting series
of technology solutions across Canada. The Technology Summit Series is making
its debut in Vancouver on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at the Plaza 500 Hotel
and is expected to attract dealers looking for insight into the Print
Solutions (http://www.copa.ca/Projects/Technology_Summit/flyer_Final.pdf)
market.
    "As office products continue the evolution into business products, now is
the time to look at the opportunities that information technology (IT) offer,"
said Sam Moncada, COPA president. "The Technology Summit Series is aimed at
bringing awareness and acceptance to the office products channel from the IT
sector - this event will help demonstrate to IT manufacturers that the office
supplies industry is committed to exploring opportunities for growth in this
emerging channel."
    Scott MacKenzie, a market research analyst and recognized industry
speaker, will be examining changes and trends in the printer market,
including:

    
    -   Laser vs. ink
    -   MFP (Multifunction printer) proliferation
    -   Managed print services
    -   End-user printing trends
    

    The Print Solutions series will also feature special presentations from
OKI Printing Solutions, PRINTSolv, and Samsung Print Solutions. For any
organization that is curious about what is happening in the IT world, the
Technology Summit Series is a great place to get some answers.
    The Print Solutions series is open to all dealers and is FREE to attend -
