The Biggest event in North America in support of the Proclamation for Independence of Kosovo

TORONTO, Feb. 16 /CNW/ - Thousands of Albanian-Canadians will gather in
Queen's Park, in front of the Provincial Parliament in Toronto, Ontario on
Sunday, February 17, 2008 from 1 pm to 4 pm to support and celebrate the
Declaration for Independence by the Parliament of Kosovo, as a legitimate act
and an expression of its people's will for freedom and equality. It is a cause
for which many generations have dreamed, hoped and died for. Many of the
attendees will be refugees from KOSOVA, an Albanian defiant name for the land
which the Serbian and officials call Kosovo, now living in Canada. This
peaceful and jubilant event is also organized to thank the Western countries
and NATO for their help in shaping a new future for the people of Kosova. A
plea to Canadian Government to recognize the newly formed nation will also be
presented at the event by Prof. Kristian Bukuroshi, bukuroshi@rogers.com,
Chair of the Rally Commission.
