The Bay announces "La Collection" TV series winner; Patrice Soku from Quebec City



    
    Designer's collection will be available at Bay stores across
    Quebec this Fall
    

    MONTREAL, June 10 /CNW/ - TV history is made with the announcement of the
winner of the TVA collaborated reality TV series "La Collection". In a
nail-biting, drama-filled last episode, audience members were given a say
along side the judges in choosing between two fashion shows staged by the
shows finalists; Mellissa Nepton and Patrice Soku.
    Patrice Soku beat out 9 contestants to claim a $100,000 salary position
as Creative Director for the Bay along with the once in a lifetime opportunity
to design the complete Fall 2009 La Collection clothing line. The clothing
line will be sold at Bay stores across the province this Fall.
    Age 29, born in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, Patrice perfected
his craft in Paris and has now settled in Quebec City where he married and has
twin boys. Patrice has a certificate as an advanced technician in Fashion
Design from Ecole de Condé in Paris. He also has strong design experience with
Nagada in Cairo and Jean-Paul Gaultier in France.
    Patrice will be making a special appearance along with the shows three
finalists at the Bay's Montreal downtown store between 12:30 and 1:30 on June
11th. Fans will also be given a sneak peak of the Fall Collection at the
upcoming Festival Mode and Design during The Bay's "La Collection" Fashion
Show scheduled for June 17th at 8:30 pm which will feature Patrice along with
other finalists from the show.
